I don’t know about you, but my my closet isn’t exactly full of green clothing. Green’s not exactly my color. Occasionally, I can get away with an olive, but that’s about it. So, you can imagine when St. Patrick’s Day rolls around, the likelihood that I’ve got green to wear…. Well, it’s not very. Which, when I was a child meant coming home with bruises on my arms. =(

So to help you avoid the same fate as me, I put together a list of crochet and knit shamrocks to help you make it thru the day pinch free.

Oh, and in case you were wondering… Why do we get pinched if we’re not wearing green on st Patrick’s day? Well, according to the myths and legends leprechauns like to pinch people. I guess because they think it’s fun. And when you wear green you become invisible to leprechauns. Don’t wear green and the little meanies will see you and pinch you.

So, here are a few knit and crochet shamrocks that you can quickly create to help you avoid coming home black and blue. =)
